Community Center Rentals

Availability
The Town of Florence Community Center is available for rent by the Public on the weekends. You can contact the Town of Florence Office to check on availability and/or to reserve the center. Rental dates are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
Rental Rates

COMMUNITY CENTER RENTAL RATES:
  • Security Deposit for all functions - $100.00
  • Kitchen charge for any kitchen use - $50.00
  • Hall Rental for Showers, rummage sales, etc. - $100.00
  • Hall Rental for Weddings, Dances, Parties - $200.00
  • Hall Rental for Meetings only for groups signing a yearly contract - $20.00
  • Hall Rental for Meetings only for large groups - $35.00
  • Additional Fee for Non County Residents - $35.00
Civic and humanitarian organizations which directly benefit Florence County residents will be afforded the use of the center at no charge but will still be required to put down a security deposit prior to their event.

Community Center Use
In addition to being the home of the Town of Florence Office, the Community Center is used by the Florence Volunteer Fire Department, Florence County Aging and Disability Resource Center as a meal site, and Florence American Legion Post #211.
Note: due to the fact that this is the home for the Fire Department as well as the American Legion, there may be some traffic during rentals if there is a fire call for the Fire Department or a funeral for the American Legion.
