Voter Registration
In the Town of Florence you have different options for registering to vote including in-person in the Clerk's Office or on Election Day, online through the MyVote Wisconsin website and with an official voter registration application from the Wisconsin Elections Commission.
There are different dates and deadlines for submitting applications when it gets closer to the elections themselves. You can register to vote online or by mail up to 20 days before the election. You can register in-person in the clerk's office up until the Friday before the election. You can also register in person at the polling place on Election Day. You must always provide a proof of residence document when registering to vote.

Online Voter Registration System
The MyVote Wisconsin website is the official site for voting information from the Wisconsin Elections Commission.
In addition to registering to vote online, voters can find their polling place, request absentee ballots, learn who their elected officials are, see what is on their ballot and more.
You can use the MyVote website (https://myvote.wi.gov/en-us/) to check your voter registration status, update your voter registration online, and/or request an absentee ballot. Note: to update your voter registration completely online, your address with the WI DMV must match the address you are registering at. You can update your address on file with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation online by visiting their website: WI DOT/DMV Online Address Update You can still use MyVote if your address is different from what is on file with the DMV, but you will be required to print your application and mail it or bring in to the Town Office with proof of residence.

In-person Voter Registration
There are two different ways to register to vote in-person.
In the municipal clerk’s office. You may register in-person in your municipal clerk’s office up until the Friday before the election at 5:00 p.m. or close of business, whichever is later.
At the polling place on Election Day. You may register at the polls on Election Day.
